PS data audits

End-to-end assessment of mobile data performance

With the ever-increasing importance of mobile data, operators need to keep offering a unique and unparalleled user experience to their customers. Due to the nature of mobile data, performance of radio and core networks, IP infrastructure and Internet service provider networks have to be examined not only in isolation but also in a combined, end-to-end manner. Service unavailability incidents and other bottlenecks in elements that seem irrelevant at a first glance can have huge impact on the end-user experience.

Identifying the root cause of performance degradation incidents is a complex and demanding task; rectifying them requires deep network expertise.

PS data audits: Combined analysis and expert advice on how to improve mobile data performance.

End-to-end view across all domains to deliver the best PS data experience.

We provide auditing services for packet data networks, addressing performance issues in an end-to-end manner. We perform monitoring, combined testing and analysis using our own tools to help you locate bottlenecks, identify root causes and take actions that will ensure optimal user experience.

How we deliver

Network health checking

We evaluate PS Core signalling, handset performance and examine the behaviour of the most popular data applications and domains. We highlight areas of poor performance and provide expert advice and actionable recommendations.

End-to-end bottleneck analysis

We perform targeted tests to identify poor performance such as big latency, low throughput, packet drops and re-transmissions. Our combined network-wide analysis helps identify the location of bottlenecks along the end-to-end IP bit pipe.

PS network parameter audit

We audit all PS Data network parameters, with focus on inter-working between different radio technologies (2G/ 3G/ 4G). We propose optimised settings based on our experience and on best-practise values to ensure reliable service to data users.

Custom services via own tools

Our PS Data Audit comprises different work packages organised in a modular fashion to address various requests and provide custom deliverables. The service is delivered with the use of our own monitoring and testing tools: DAP, DataMon and Business Analytics.
